Note: DoGoodery will continue to make telework available for all employees based on COVID government guidelines. To effectively transition into this role, the communications manager will be asked to come into the Hollywood office as needed. Once government guidelines are relieved, the position will be hybrid, with the majority of the position continuing to be telework unless needed in the office or onsite.

Position Description

Do you love to write? Are you constantly thinking of ways to strategically communicate and offer insights and interesting information? Do you find yourself sharing memes and social media posts that delight and inspire you? Do you have fresh ideas for how to build an audience and engage with clients and followers?

If so, join us in inspiring DoGoodery’s orbit with your thoughtfully crafted communication skills, brilliant social media brain, design skills, and overall creative approach to engage our various audiences! We’re looking for someone who can manage the day-to-day communications for our growing social impact consulting agency in LA. This role works directly with the Director of Strategy and Culture.

About You

You’re an excellent communicator who can find the best ways to meet the needs of a growing audience. You’ve got initiative and experience building engagement across platforms. You’re a social media extraordinaire with an eye for design  who can see the big picture of communications strategy. You’re ready to help us level up our social media presence! We’re looking for creative ideas, a positive attitude and a good old-fashioned work ethic. The perfect candidate is a bit of an octopus — you can have your hands on multiple projects at one time. We’re looking for someone who is flexible and willing to switch gears quickly. You also don’t shy away from data and metrics; analytics is a big part of your toolbox.

About Us

Our team is a crew of spirited, funny, talented, hustling humans. We work hard to do good in this world, but we will never take ourselves too seriously.  The DoGoodery team is enthusiastic, dedicated, and takes on an enormous amount of work for a small team. The ideal candidate matches our energy, our love for liveliness, and has a genuine understanding that none of us are above any type of task. We are an all-in type of crew, and we’re excited to find the next narwhal to join our family.  The environment is fast-paced and always on the move. We very much believe in celebrating our successes over good meals, bonuses when realistic, and dance parties (in a virtual setting, if needed).

And the best part? We are located in the MOST GORGEOUS space in all of Los Angeles – Second Home!! Our office is a glass-encased pod and looks out into a luxurious garden of natural goodness. We literally work in paradise.

We highly encourage you to apply! Tell us why you’re the best person for the job. Hope you’ll join us!
