UL

The UL Innovative Education Award (ULIEA) is a first-of-its-kind initiative designed to invest up to US $250,000 annually in environmental and STEM education, sustainable communities, and youth empowerment. The program offers recognition awards to increase the impact of existing innovative non-profit programs that use the Environment as a pathway to STEM Learning (E-STEM).

Through the ULIEA, UL invests in the critical work of non-profit organizations across the US and Canada that are leading the way to inspire a passion for STEM learning among young people through a focus on designing solutions to environmental problems.

DoGoodery has joined UL in helming the ULIEA program in its sixth year, and with this undertaking shall be working with the UL team on many fronts. This is a partnership of both strategy and management that encompasses the whole suite of DoGoodery’s social impact offerings: from continuing the program as it exists, acting as the day-to-day management of the ULIEA, to coordinate marketing and social media efforts for the program, to delving deep into a strategic exploration of the program’s future. DoGoodery shall investigate options for increasing the program’s engagement with its growing network of past winners, envision new areas for potential growth, evaluate the program’s impact thus far, and examine UL priorities, their alignment with the UL program as it exists today, and how best to evolve the program to meet those goals.
